
Classic Gallery situated at Chakupat in Lalitpur Metropolitan City, hosted a group art show by young artists under the theme “Heritage Re-imagined.” The art exhibition was inaugurated jointly by chief guest Meena Maharjan, director, Swosti Shree Gurukul IB World School and special guest Shikha Subba, spa-coordinator, American Mission Association, amidst a function on Saturday.

Classic Gallery provides platforms to emerging talented young artists as it helps enhance their creative ability and capacity building, remarked Sarita Dangol, senior artist and chairperson of the gallery. Such events provide platform for artists to meet the art lovers and audience, she pointed out.
The exhibition showcases art works done through print making, ceramic, water colour, wood carvings and oil painting by 14 young artists.

The exhibition features creative works by 14 young artists including Sarina Lamichhane, Kabita Kayastha, Moulik Limbu, Karishma Joshi, Lachhen Nyarten Tamang, Sharmila Tamang, Shrayana Shakya, Anjali Tamang, Prashamsha Shakya,Rajiya Rai, David Maharjan among others through an open competition followed by a careful selection procedure.
