Raksha Panta from Butwal has won the title of ‘Mrs. Nepal World 2025’, during a beauty pageant for married women. Panta grabbed the title by beating 24 other contestants in the competition held at the Nepal Police Club in Pradarshani Marga, Kathmandu on Saturday.
She will represent Nepal in the Mrs. World 2026 pageant to be held in USA. She received a Scooter as a prize.
Sanju Bhatta became Mrs. Nepal International in the competition. She won the title of Central Fashion School Fashion Icon. Similarly, Deepika Tamang won the title of MS Nepal International. At Mrs Nepal World, Vidya Chauhan won the ‘Viewers’ Choice’ and ‘Facebook Choice’ along with the first runners-up.
Alina KC won the Best Hair award with Cute Care as the second runner-up. Likewise, Nirmala Tamang was placed the third runner-up and Savitri Kanchanjunga declared the Best Dancer.
The winner of Mrs. Nepal International will be eligible to represent Nepal in the Mrs. International competition to be held in Singapore, and the winner of MS Nepal International will be eligible to represent Nepal in the MS International competition to be held in Singapore.
At the event, actress Pooja Chand was honoured with the honourary title of ‘Mrs. Nepal World 2025’ for her contribution to the fields of Nepali film, art, culture, and literature for nearly three and a half decades.
Former Inspector General of Nepal Police Sarbendra Khanal, actor Saroj Khanal, actress Sunny Rauniyar, Mrs. Nepal World 2023 Prithviya Thapa, glamour photographer Rajbhai Suwal, filmmaker Gajit Bista, and general physician Dr. Kurt were among the judges during the competition.
