At least eight people lost their lives in a landslide that hit Chhayanath Rara Municipality -11 of Mugu district on Monday.
According to the police, eight bodies of the deceased have been recovered from the site situated in Western Nepal’s remote area. Mugu district is situated 400 km North-west of Kathmandu.
All deceased were the residents of Salim Gaun. The landslide has displaced 500 families in the area.
