Mitra Kunj recently orgsnised Mega Health Camp and blood donation programme on 13th December, Saturday at the premises of Nandi Secondary School, Naxal in collaboration with Kathmandu Ward No. 1. Kathmandu Path Lab, Metro Blood Bank, Dallu Community Hospital, Dristi Eye care center and other organizations had extended supports to conduct the programme.
Samar Pharmaceutical, Asian Pharmaceutical, Quest Pharmaceutical also provided free medicines. And there were others! 12-15 specialist doctors from Mitrakunj examined the patients and provided consultation services. About 200 locals, school children and teachers, employees, Mitrakunj members, including Russian embassy representative doctors and co-directors of the Russian building, all participated.
Mitrakunj offered gratitude to all the members of Metropolitan Ward No. 1, Nandi School Board President, staff, professors, scouts, students, health volunteers and police personnel.
Mitrakunj is an organization of graduates of the Soviet Union, Russia and CIS countries. Each of our members has been contributing to the development of the group, society, nation and the world.
