Jupiter Media Pvt. Ltd. successfully organized the Grand Screening Event of “Bizz Education Presents Destination UK – Series 2”at Everest Hotel, New Baneshwor the other day, bringing together senior education leaders, representatives from UK universities, institutional partners, and education consultancies. The event, title sponsored by Bizz Education and powered by Real Dreams Educational Consultancy, marked a significant step toward strengthening responsible, transparent, and student-centric education communication between Nepal and the United Kingdom.

The program commenced with guest registration and welcome, followed by a formal opening session where participants were briefed on the vision and objectives of Destination UK – Series 2. The series is designed to present authentic, on-ground university insights, verified institutional information, and realistic student experiences, helping Nepali students make informed study-abroad decisions. A traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolizing knowledge, ethics, and guidance in international education, was jointly conducted by Sunil Acharya, MD of Jupiter Media; Hari Karki, Founder- Director of Bizz Education; Sergine Monple, Director of Global Engagement at Bangor University; and Sudarshan Subedi, Head of Business Development at the British Council.

Delivering the media leadership address, Acharya underscored that Destination UK is not a promotional show alone but a responsible education journalism initiative. He shared insights from Jupiter Media’s extensive field visits across UK universities and underlined the importance of editorial integrity, transparency, and factual storytelling at a time when Nepali students were facing growing challenges in securing part-time jobs in the UK. “In the current context, many students are struggling to manage living expenses due to limited part-time job opportunities. Through Destination UK, we are clearly communicating that students must do proper financial planning and institutional research before heading towards UK for higher studies,” Acharya pointed out. “Studying abroad should be a well-informed choice, not a rushed decision driven by trends.” The program proceeded with the editorial launch and official unveiling of the Destination UK – Series 2 magazine, which documents Jupiter Media’s on-ground engagement with UK universities, academic leaders, and international offices. The magazine was jointly unveiled by Sunil Acharya, Hari Karki, and Sergine Monple. Representing the powered-by partner, Basanta Nepal, Director of Real Dreams Educational Consultancy and a representative of York St John University, delivered his message through Archana Yadav, Representative of York St John University. In the message, Yadav highlighted that ethical counselling and verified institutional communication are more critical than ever, noting that Destination UK helps reduce misinformation and aligns student expectations with ground realities. Following this, Hari Karki, MD, Bizz Education, delivered the title sponsor’s address, describing British education as a long-term academic investment rather than a short-term financial solution. He shared that students must be academically prepared, financially planned, and psychologically aware of challenges such as limited part-time work opportunities and rising living costs. “If students are not financially prepared for the UK, there are excellent colleges and universities in Nepal as well,” Karki added. “A strong foundation at home can also lead to global success.” The event also featured the exclusive launch of the Destination UK – Series 2 official trailer, showcasing participating universities, expert interviews, student voices, and real campus environments. In the coverage appreciation segment, Sergine Monple commended Jupiter Media’s editorial approach in presenting Bangor University accurately and responsibly, followed by appreciation remarks from the British Council representative. The program concluded with a media and partner appreciation ceremony and formal closing.

The evening transitioned into a networking dinner, fostering dialogue and collaboration between Nepal’s education stakeholders and UK institutions. Through Destination UK – Series 2, Jupiter Media and Bizz Education jointly reaffirmed their commitment to guiding Nepali students toward informed, financially realistic, and ethically sound education decisions, encouraging thorough research and planning before choosing international study pathways.
