
The 58th Annual General Meeting of Salt Trading Ltd. was held on March 28, 2025 in Kathmandu. The AGM presided over by chairman of the board of directors of the STC Pradip Lal Shrestha endorsed the Annual Report for the year 2080-81. B.S., Profit and Loss Statement, Cash Flow Statement and Accounts Policy after holding discussion. On the occasion chairman Shrestha said that the overall business transactions of the STC remained satisfactory in the fiscal year 2080-81 and the financial sector investment was also fruitful.
The total business transactions including salt, food items, chemical fertilizer and other consumer goods carried out by STC stood at Rs. 13 billion, 350 million in 2080-81 B.S., according to a press release issued by the STC.
During the period STC earned net profit of around Rs 1 billion 40 million. The STC also decided to distribute 10 percent dividend to the shareholders this year.
The STC made a contribution of Rs. 60,00,000 in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.
