The 9th National Summit of Health and Population Scientists is scheduled to kick off in Kathmandu from Tuesday. The theme of the two day summit being convened at the initiative of Nepal Health Research COuncil will be “Research for Health: Fact and Investigation for Implementation.”
Around 500 health researchers and scientists from Nepal and representatives from 10 countries will attend the summit. The summit will witness around 150 research papers, 137 oral presentation and 64 poster presentations. The summit will provide a platform for health researchers, scientists, population experts and policy makers from across the country to exchange and share their knowledge and ideas. Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal “Prachanda” will inaugurate the summit.
