
Indian Embassy, Kathmandu observed 77th Republic Day of India with the Indian community and friends of India in Nepal. On the occasion the address to the nation by India’s President Droupadi Murmu was screened.
Charge d’ Affairs of Indian Embassy Rakesh Pandey on the occasion honoured the widows and next of kin of deceased personnel of the Indian Army and handed over Army Group Insurance Funds cheques having a total value of NRs. 72 million.

Charge d’ Affairs Pandey on the occasion hosted a reception at Indian House, in the premises of Indian Embassy in Kathmandu. The occasion was graced by Vice president of Nepal Ram Sahaya Yadav, Foreign Minister Bala Nanda Sharma, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai among other dignitaries.
