A new travelogue titled Kailash Kora, authored by Rajendraman Dangal, has been released, offering a comprehensive guide to the revered Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage—a journey increasingly popular among Nepali pilgrims and international devotees.

Published by Publication Nepalaya, Kailash Kora captures the spiritual and physical dimensions of the two-week long pilgrimage, blending personal narrative with factual insights. The book covers practical aspects of the journey, including routes, maps, and cultural significance.

“I have tried to capture the true essence of the sacred source of four great rivers—Brahmaputra, Sutlej, Indus, and Karnali—in words,” remarked author Dangal. “With Kailash being a deeply revered destination across Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, and Bon traditions, I undertook this journey last year with the aim of documenting its profound spiritual energy.” Jyoti Adhikari, who has been involved in organising Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimages from Nepal since 1992, said that Kailash Kora sheds light on the spiritual and emotional dimensions of the journey. “Just as the experiences of Narayan Wagle and Amrit Gurung once brought Kailash to life, this book captures the depth of devotion and reflection the pilgrimage inspires,” he said. Adhikari remarked that the book does more than recount travel details—it offers a soulful portrayal of the journey’s emotional and spiritual dimensions
