
Sirjana College of Fine Arts has organised a collective art exhibition at the hall of National Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) at Naxal in Kathmandu. The exhibition was opened by Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Sunita Dangol on Friday.
On the occasion, Dangol appreciated the art and culture of the country and the devotion of artists in development of modern and traditional arts of Nepal. She assured KMC support in the art and culture sector and also to the college as well for infrastructural development.

Principle of the college Bal Krishna Ranjit, former principle and senior artist and writer Madan Chitrakar also spoke on the occasion highlighting the current status of contemporary art in Nepal. They elaborated that the ongoing exhibition is the representation of Nepal’s art properties.

In the exhibition, there are art pieces of Shashi Bikram Shah, Batsa Gopal Vaidya, Madan Chitrakar, Krishna Manandhar, Shyam Lal Shrestha, Radhyeshyam Mulmi, Rajesh Gautam, Sharada Man Shrestha, Sharad Ranjit, Gautam Manandhar, Navindra Man Rajbhandari, Lok Chitrakar, Sunil Ranjit, Gangadhar Sharoo, Gopal Kalapremi Shrestha, Devina Malla, Samjhana Rajbhandari, Chandra Shyam Dangol, Saur Ganga Darshandhari, Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Mukesh Shrestha, Kuldip Jung Bahadur Gurung, Surajmuni Shakya, Roshan Bhandari and Tara Tamang are at display
