Rs. 100 Nepal bank note to have pointed map

Nepal government has decided to replace the map of Nepal printed in the background of bank note amounting to Rs. 100 with the new pointed map.

The meeting of the council of ministers chaired by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” took a decision to print the new map of Nepal which includes controversial territories Lipulek, Limpiyadhura and Kalapani in the Rs. 100 denomination bank notes,” Minister for Information and Communication and government spokesperson Rekha Sharma told media persons while briefing about the cabinet decision. “The cabinet has approved to re-design the bank Not of Rs. 100 and replace the old map printed in the background of the bank note,” she added.
