showcase Nepal’s beauty to the world

National Forum of Photo Journalists Nepal (NFPJ Nepal) had organized an interaction program with 13 renowned travel photographers from China. The event was organized in collaboration with the Nepal China Friendship Forum (NCFF) in Lalitpuron Friday.

On the occasion, treasurer of the organization Sagar Shrestha expressed happiness in engaging with Chinese photographers. He also mentioned the scopes for further cooperation with the Chinese counterparts the future.

Senior vice-president Sushil Shrestha chaired the event. He Sushil Shrestha expressed confidence in understanding China’s art, culture, and civilization closely in the coming days.

Renowned travel photographer Su Xue, a member of the visiting team, shared his experiences of visiting Nepal since 2008 and expressed a desire to continue capturing Nepal’s religious and touristic aspects through photography. He also highlighted the beauty of Nepal, which he aims to showcase to the world through his photography.

Ghanashyam Shrestha, the deputy general secretary of NFPJ Nepal, appreciated the interaction programme, deeming it highly beneficial. He expressed hope that such interactions would strengthen the relationship between photographers from Nepal and China in the future.He also mentioned plans to exhibit the top 100 photos taken by Nepali photographers in a Chinese city, aiming to further promote tourism in Nepal. He emphasized the need for support from the National Forum of Photo Journalists Nepal to achieve this goal.

Dr. Kalyan Sharma, the chairman of the Nepal China Friendship Forum (NCFF), facilitated language simplification during the programme. Both Nepali and Chinese photographers were felicitated with scarves and Nepali caps, symbolizing mutual love. Additionally, books representing the culture of both countries were exchanged as tokens of appreciation.

Former President Raj Bhai Suwal and other members of NFPJ Nepal also had participated in the event.
