Handbook for Indian Investors released, four MoUs signed

Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun, in the sideline of the Nepal Investment Summit 2024, released a handbook for Indian Investors Investing in Nepal. The hand book was published by Nepal India Chamber of Commerce and Industries with a view to facilitating Indian investors desirous to invest in Nepal.

The handbook consists of information such as rules, regulations, taxation, investment climate, intellectual property rights and investment procedures required by an investor.

The Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce (FNCCI) and National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (NCCIM) on Sunday signed a bilateral agreement to explore trade and investment opportunities. Similarly, Nepal’s BLC (Bhuramal Lunkarandas Conglomerate) belonging to Chaudhary Group and India’s Yotta Data Services Pvt. Ltd. Signed an agreement for the establishment and operation of a Data Centre in Nepal.

Likewise, on Monday two other MoUs were signed in the presence of Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun. Nepalese Association of Public Private Partnership (NAPPP) and World Association of PPP units and PPP Professionals (WAPPP) signed a MoU to exchange knowledge and promote international best PPP practices in Nepal. Similarly, Saakha & Co. Pvt. Ltd., Nepal signed a MoU with BOAR Group of Hotel China for investment in Hotel Business.
