Hearing on TikTok band postponed

The petition filed against the ban of TikTok in Nepal has been placed on the ‘no time to see’ list by the Supreme Court on Monday.

The bench of Dr Kumar Chudal has put the case of the ban against the TikTok app on the ‘no time to see’ list’. Ten writ petitions were filed against the government’s decision to ban TikTok at the Apex Court. The preliminary hearing on the case was supposed to take place on Monday on the bench of Dr Kumar Chudal.

Senior Advocate Dinesh Tripathi, Judges Trilok Bahadur Chand, Prem Silwal, Aananta Raj Luitel. Dr Sunil Ranjan Singh, Yagya Mani Neupane and Pharshu Ram Pandey on Friday filed the petition against the ban.
