National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has released the first installment amount to build temporary housing for the survivors of the earthquake victims.
According to an aide of the Home Minister, the amount was released on Monday in the name of the concerned District Administration Office.
The Authority has released a total of Rs. 1.41 billion, allocating Rs. 500 million each for Jajarkot and Rukum Pashchim, 250 million for Bajhang, 140 million for Bajura and 20 million for Salyan districts. Some 3,400 houses have been totally destroyed in Jajarkot and Rukum Paschim during the November 3 earthquake.
