Tourism Minister Pandey to inaugurate 34th AGM of NMA

Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) is organizing its 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Alice Reception, Gairidhara, Kathmandu on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Minister for Tourism, Culture and CIvil Aviation Badri Pandey has consented to inaugurate the AGM of NMA, according to sources at the association.

NMA is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-political organization working as a national alpine association of Nepal. NMA was established in November 1973 with the objectives of promoting mountain tourism, climbing sports, preserve mountain environment and preserve and promote cultural heritage of mountain people. Nima Nuru Sherpa is the current president of NMA.
