Chhatta Dot Com. Pvt. Ltd., a natural and artistic lifestyle wears, has opened its outlet at Chaksabari, Thamel in Kathmandu in the first week of March, 2024. The manufacturer, wholesaler, retailer and exporter offers a wide range of products manufactured in Nepal including Cashmere shawl, organic cotton, hemp clothes and bags, artifacts and handicrafts.
“We have pashmina items, natural fiber goods, organic cotton, flooring, accessories, handicrafts, interior decoration goods as well as leather items,” informed Ganga Prasad Timilsina (Jimmy), one of the partners of the company. “We are involved in manufacturing and exporting indigenously manufactured items for the past 15, 16 years, said Timilsina. “We are targeting both wholesale as well as retail traders,” said Timilsina adding 80 percent of our buyers are tourists.
As the shop is located in Thamel, the popular tourist hub in Kathmandu, many tourists who happen to pass by are attracted to the outlet. There are more than 500 different varieties of items available in Chhata.com. “We also export our products to different countries such as USA, China, Japan and European countries,” he maintained. “We have goods ranging from Rs. 200 to Rs. 2 lakh,” said Timilsina.
