Nepal wins by 6 wickets in the final match of the T20

By winning the last match against West Indies ‘A’ by 6 wickets, Nepal has indicated that it is well prepared before the ICC T-20 World Cup. Openers Asif Sheikh, Anil Kumar Shah, Kushal Malla, Sompal Kami and Sagar Dhakal gave a good performance to give victory to Nepal at the TU Stadium in Kirtipur on Saturday. In the last match against Test nation West Indies, Nepal showed excellent performance in bowling, batting and fielding and ended the series 3-2. Both Nepal and West Indies played this match for preparation before the World Cup. West Indies have already won the series by winning three of the four matches played earlier. Nepal won the first match by four wickets before two balls. West Indies won the second match by 10 wickets and tied the series. West Indies won the third match by 76 runs to take a 2-1 lead in the series. The fourth game was won by 28 runs and the series was won by one game.

Nepal played the 2014 World Cup under the captaincy of Paras Khadka. After that, Nepal is simultaneously playing the World Cup to be held in West Indies and America in June. Sompal is the only player from Nepal who has played in both World Cups. Nepal will face the Netherlands in the first match of the World Cup starting on June 2. The match will be played on June 4. Group ‘D’ includes Nepal, South Africa, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Sompal Kami, the all-rounder of the Nepali team, has said that there is good preparation before the World Cup. ‘This is a good preparation before the World Cup,” Sompal, who is playing in the World Cup for the second time, said, “We failed in the second game”. “If we had won that game, the series would have been in our favor”. Opener Asif Sheikh also said that morale is high ahead of the World Cup. “Playing against an experienced team has boosted morale ahead of the World Cup.
