Gitanjali appointed First Secretary (PIC), Embassy of India

Ms. Geetanjali Brandon Tripathi has joined Embassy of India, Kathmandu as First Secretary, Press, Information and Culture (PIC) on Saturday, March 30, 2024. A career diplomat, she had joined Indian Foreign Service in 2012. She had also worked as second-secretary political at Indian Embassy, Paris and served as delegate in India’s mission to World Trade Organization.

Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava on Saturday hosted a reception at the Embassy of India, Lainchaur, Kathmandu to welcome newly appointed first secretary Ms. Gitanjali and to bid farewell to Naveen Kumar, Counsellor (Political).

Kumar is leaving Kathmandu shortly after serving as First Secretary (Press and Information) and Counsellor (Political) for three and a half year.

Similarly, First Secretary Avinash Kumar Singh has recently taken charge of Development and Partnership and Reconstruction at the Embassy of India.
