In the 24-year history of the U-19 World Cup, Nepal has played eight times in the World Cup. In this process, Nepal reached the quarter-finals once and the second stage once. In the 2016 World Cup in Bangladesh, Nepal created history and confirmed the quarter-final spot. Nepal’s opponent for the Super Six stage has not been selected. Nepal will compete against the Group ‘A’ winners and runners-up in the Super Six. India, Bangladesh, Ireland and America are in this group. Nepal will compete with the top two of these three. In the Super Six, teams from Group ‘A’ and ‘D’ will face each other. There will also be a competition between the teams of Group ‘B’ and ‘C’. . Nepal will play the runner-up of Group ‘A’ on 31 January and the winner of Group A on 3 February.
