Bigg Boss 17’s grand finale witnessed five finalists – Ankita Lokhande, Munawar Faruqui, Mannara Chopra, Abhishek Kumar, and Arun Mashetty competing for the coveted trophy. The competition was intense, marked by significant moments in the contestants’ lives, from Ankita and Vicky’s heated arguments to relationship challenges faced by Munawar and Abhishek. With each finalist boasting a substantial fan base, their friends and family were actively campaigning for votes.
The season, centered around the theme of “Heart, Mind, and Strength,” initially categorized participants into three groups: “Heart” (Dil), “Mind” (Dimaag), and “Strength” (Dum), allowing contestants to choose their approach in the game. The show featured alliances, preferences, and dynamic interactions among the participants.
The 6-hour-long finale, aired at 6 pm with the winner announced at 12 am. It was entertaining and star-studded grand finale. Former contestants, including Sana Khan, Ayesha Khan, Isha Malviya, Vicky Jain, Tehelka, Samarth Jurel, Rinku Dhawan, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Khanzaadi, Jigna Vora, and others, made appearances. Noteworthy performances included Samarth and Isha’s romantic dance and a routine by Telly couple Neil and Aishwarya. Dance Deewane judges Suniel Shetty and Madhuri Dixit also added to the glamour in the show. The show, hosted by Salman Khan for the 14th time, witnessed occasional hosting by Karan Johar during Week 7 and 13 due to Salman’s prior commitments. Additionally, Arbaaz and Sohail Khan hosted on Sundays for several weeks. Bigg Boss 17 featured three wild card entries – Manasvi Mamgai, Samarth, Aoora, and Ayesha. Internet sensation Orry, also known as Orhan Awatramani, made a guest appearance for two days. The season included a family week towards the end, with family members entering the house for a brief period. Munawar Faruqui lifted the trophy beating Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra, Ankita Lokhande and Arun Mashetty. He took Indian Rs 50 lakh cash and a car.
