Women’s empowerment comes only through proper education: Sirosha

Sirosha Sapkota, who was declared Mrs. Nepal Nobel 2024 is a fashion designer by profession. Sirosha, the mother of two children, a son and a daughter, is also running Sirosha Boutique in Kapan, Kathmandu.

“I am very happy to grab the crown. I have never imagined that I will reach at this position,” she remarked. I have learnt a lot during the training period from choreographer mam and other members of the organizing team (Himalayan Movies) she said. My confidence level has grown after winning the crown, she noted.

She says that though being a professional woman and a house wife as well, she is also ready to accept modeling assignment and acting role if she gets offer.

She got married at the age of 24 and her marriage was arranged one. “I accepted the boy chosen by my parents without any hesitation,” she said. A successful model also requires good intellectual ability and academic background besides having physical beauty, according to Sirosha. Beauty is not only outward look, but it also means inward beauty, she pointed out. In her opinion women’s empowerment comes only if she gets proper education. Sirosha will get a chance to participate in NEFA Award 2024 in Egypt within a couple of month representing Nepal.
