Kushal Malla bags “Sanskriti Sports Samman 2023” award

Sanskriti International School has awarded an Annual Award in the name of the “Sanskriti Sports Samman” annual sports award to encourage rising talents in the national sports arena. This award is conferred annually in accordance with the Gregorian calendar to one sportsperson who has performed best in the sports sector and excelled in his/her field in 2023. The event was organized on December 28. The award for this year, 2023, is presented toKushal Malla, who became the fastest scorer of a T20I century, off just 34 balls, in the opening match of the 2022 Asian Games against Mongolia.

The award was handed over to Malla by Paras Khadka, as well as the former captain of the national cricket team. Khadka was also chief guest of the event. Diptee Acharya, director of school handed over a cheque of amount Rs. 1,01,000 to Malla.

Similarly, in the same event, the training scholarship worth Rs 50,000/- was given to Soni Pakhrin. This training scholars is for deserving under 19 cricket players from across the country who cannot afford professional training. Ms. Soni Pakhrin is now in the national women’s cricket team. This training will be provided by the Cricket Excellence Centre, run by cricket Paras Khadka.

Through the ‘Sanskriti Sports Samman’ annual award, we aim to inspire our national talents in our students a sense of responsibility towards building a compassionate society.
