The COP28 climate talks in Dubai ended in a historic deal that committed the world to a ‘transition away from all fossil fuels’ for the first time. Earlier the movement was to ‘Phase out Fossil Fuels” to reduce vehicular emissions, the main contributor of climate change.
The final agreement calls for countries to quickly shift energy systems away from fossil fuels in a just and orderly fashion, qualifications that helped convince the skeptics. Under the deal, countries also are called to contribute to a global transition effort-rather than being outright compelled to make that shift on their own.
While the outcome falls short of the specific fossil fuel “phase out” most countries wanted, it does break new ground: No previous COP text has mentioned moving away from oil and gas, the fuels that have underpinned the global economy for decades.
Hence, people have make their mind to shift to non-polluting vehicles to ride, if not they would like to deploy some device that can reduce consumption of fossil fuels and also reduce carbon emission.
As a solution, there is a system that allows to reduce the fuel consumption in your car at a very low cost. That is efficient to save up to 30% of the amount you currently spend and reduce your car’s pollution (CO, CO2, SOx, and Nox). This simply called ‘Hydrogen-Hydrogen-Oxygen’ or ‘HHO’ in short’. Simply use the normal fuel mixed with the hydrogen generated in your own car through a process called electrolysis. The Hydrogen HHO gas produced is then directed toward the engine’s combustion chamber via the air intake manifold, where it mixes with your usual carbon-based fuels (petrol, diesel, LPG), and both are ignited there. This allows your carbon based fuel to burn better, increasing the Combustion Efficiency and thus reducing fuel consumption and the amount of pollutants released in the exhaust. HHO kits are simple to install. In some cases, person with general knowledge can install it without the help of a technician.
Experiments were carried out to evaluate the influence of the addition of HHO gas (hydrogen+oxygen obtained electrochemically from the water) to the air in the intake manifold of a direct injection diesel engine. What research shows is that the addition of HHO gas can improve the combustion efficiency due to the different combustion properties of hydrogen, in comparison to conventional fuels.
The advantages :
1. Reduce your fuel spending up to 30%. This is valid for both highway and town (city) driving conditions.
2. Increases the power and performance in your car. Once you switch to supplemental hydrogen, it will enhance power and performance in your car.
3. Reduces the CO2 emissions. Eliminating pollution and other harmful residues that our car engines produce. What´s wrong with doing also something good for the environment besides saving money?
4. Reduces the temperature in the engine. Also improves engine life-span since it´s burning fuel at a much cooler state.
5. Removes the carbon residues inside your engine and prevents future carbon deposits.
6. Lower noise and vibrations in the engine. Hydrogen effect in the combustion cycle. The engine will sound much quieter than it was before. This is due to higher combustion efficiency in your car.
7. Increases the lifespan of your engine.
Inside the engine there are pistons moving rapidly up and down at a constant rate, generating the power for the car. When a piston lowers it creates a vacuum which sucks in fuel and air (Intake). When it rises, it compresses the fuel (Compression) and the spark plug ignites it (Power). An engine will ideally fire the piston only when it has completely reached the top of the combustion chamber. However, most engines fire earlier and don’t burn the fuel completely. This creates inefficiency, increases consumption and creates pollution.
When the Hydrogen HHO Kit gas mix with fuel, the piston will be able to compress it completely before igniting, and the extra hydrogen allows the fuel to burn more efficiently, reducing the amount of waste emissions. This also adds a bit of power to the engine, which increases its efficiency and improves your kilometers per liter.
Research shows that by adding hydrogen gas, it allows the engine to operate better with an improved air/fuel ratio. Without hydrogen, the stoichiometric ratio of gasoline/air is 1 to 14.7 (by mass). With hydrogen, the engine can operate with a gasoline/air ratio of 1 to 20 or higher.
Hydrogen gas does not provide more energy to the engine; its presence, however, acts as a reformer. It helps the heavy molecules of the fuel to burn completely. In other words, the small amount of hydrogen in the engine allows for the burning of more fuel, which changes the conventional stoichiometric ratio of fuel/air to a more favourable position.
The technology is very secure. There is no gas storage or risk of explosion, as the generator only works when the engine is running and immediately burns all the gas produced. Our equipment does not affect the engine or other parts of the car.
Technical knowledge is not necessary. The system is simple. We supply an extensive clear user manual with the system.
In Nepal, Shishir GC, the young scientist and an awardee from Nepal Academy of Science and technology had demonstrated the deployment of a simple device that works as said above. Some others also had experimented it and witnessed desired results.
In order to contribute to climate actions, Nepal needs to consider on reducing consumption of fossil fuels and also to reduce the bill to be paid against import of fossil fuels. As this is simple, the Government may be advised to call private sector to run workshops to install such devices in thousands of fossil fuel run vehicles. Moreover, subsidies and tax reduction on import of suck kits may be recommended. Likewise, technical capacity building and financing facilities are also to be taken into focus so as rapid result in big volume may be generated.
