Sumina crowned as Mrs. Newa World 1144

Sumina Maharjan was crowned as Mrs. Newa World during an event emphasizing on the cultural essence, its importance and dignity of Newar community and empowering the married women of Newar Community.

Showcasing its first edition at Rastriya Naachghar, Jamal, Kathmandu, the gala event honoured Sumina Maharjan as Mrs. Newa World 1144. Sumina, by profession dance instructor at Nepa Dance Academy, also bagged the title of best skin.

During the event Sabina Maharjan secured first runner-up position and also the title arward called best hair while Grishma Ranjitkar completed the event as second runner-up also winning the title award called best dress.

The event was organized by Khagesh Ranjitkar under the banner of Karaoke Entertainment. The event was been chaired by Former SSP Deepak Ranjit and had the presence of Rajan Kumar Shrestha, the chairman of Sky Group Companies, as the chief guest.

The event was choreographed and judged by Miss National Samita Bajracharya while make-up artist Grishma Shakya, singer and media person Suraj Bir Bajracharya and fashion designer Sabi Sthapit were also in the panel of jury. The event was hosted by fashion choreographer and media person Rojin Shakya.
