Nepalese Foreign Ministry on Monday made public the names of six Nepalese nationals who lost their life while working for the Russian Army. Nepal government has asked the Russian government to send the dead bodies of the Nepalese killed in Russia – Ukrain war, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ministry has also asked Russia not to appoint any Nepalese national in its army and immediately send back them if anyone is found to be employed in the Russian Army.
The ministry has also informed that diplomatic efforts are on to release one Nepalese army soldier, who has been made hostage by the Ukrain while serving in the Russian Army. Those Nepalese nationals who died while serving in Russian Army includes, Sandip Thapaliya, Rupak Karki, Devan Rai, Pitam Karki, Raj Kumar Roka and Gangaraj Moktan.
