Three foreign tourists and a high-altitude Nepali porter have been rescued from the Manaslu region of northern Gorkha.
According to the District Police Office in Gorkha, two Danish nationals, an Australian tourist and a porter from Dhading have been rescued on Sunday. A Danish tourist complained of breathing difficulties apparently caused due to altitude sickness while the Australian tourist sustained injuries after a fall on the trail, according to the police. They were carried on board an Air Dynasty helicopter to Kathmandu for medical treatment.
