Nepal mourns on Tuesday on the death of 10 students in Israel

In honour of the death of ten Nepali students in a terror attack in Israel, Nepal government has decided to observe mourning on Tuesday. A cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal “Prachanda” on Monday decided to observe national mourning for Tuesday to honour those killed by Hamas outfit in Israel.

The government has also decided to lower the Nepali national flag to half-mast on the day of national mourning. The cabinet meeting also decided to provide Rs. one million compensation to each of the victims’ families, announced Government spokesperson and Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma. So far, 10 students have been killed, one missing and four are undergoing treatment after the attack. Two students have been evacuated safely from the incident site.
