Focus on the development of IT sector: VP Yadav

Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav has called for the use of high-end technology by making the country’s information technology (IT) sector advanced as this sector was linked to the country’s development.     

Speaking at the silver jubilee celebrations of the Lord Buddha Education Foundation in Kathmandu on Monday, the Vice President remarked that the country’s IT sector should be advanced further terming the advancement achieved by the sector in the past two decades. 

Along with the IT sector development, foundations for policy and legal framework have been prepared in the country and the IT-friendly new generation is evidence for this, the Vice President pointed out. Similarly, he called for the production of skilled IT manpower that can compete in the international market.
