Vice-President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has returned home on Monday on completion of his official visit to China.
Leading the Nepali delegation, Vice-President Yadav had left Kathmandu for People’s Republic of China on August 14 to attend the Seventh China-South Asia Expo and the 27th China Kunming Import and Export Fair held in Kunming of Yunnan Province of China held from August 16 to August 20, 2023.
The Vice-President also held bilateral meetings with the Chinese national as well as provincial leaders on the occasion, according to the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing. “The delegation also visited difference places related to development in the areas of agriculture, health, education, culture and people-to-people contacts,” reads a press release issued by the embassy.
During his China visit, VP Yadav was accompanied by spouse Champa Devi Yadav, Secretary at the Office of the Vice-President Madhu Sudan Burlakoti and personal doctor Shivaji Bikram Silwal.
