Vice President Yadav visiting China from Monday

Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has left for Kunming, China on Monday, 14 August 2023 to attend the 7th China-South Asia Exposition and 27th China Kunming Import & Export Fair (Kunming Fair) to be held in Kunming from 16 to 20 August 2023.

Vice President Yadav is accompanied by his spouse Ms. Champa Devi Yadav, Education Minister Ashok Kumar Rai, Science and Technology, and other senior officials of the Government of Nepal, according to Foreign Ministry sources.

Vice President Shah is scheduled to address the official opening of 7th China-South Asia Expo on Wednesday, 16 August 2023. In this 7th edition of China-South Asia Expo, Nepal is designated as a ‘Theme Country’. There will be ‘Nepal Pavilion’ and Vice President Yadav will inaugurate the pavilion. During the expo more than 100 Nepali traders will showcase their products. The Vice President will return to Kathmandu on August 21, 2023.
