As many as 113 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 have been detected across Nepal on Monday while 72 people recovered from the disease.
In 766 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests conducted in the past 24 hours, 64 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. Similarly, 49 positive cases were found in 1,044 Antigen tests in the last 24 hours. Currently, there are 362 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. So far, 12,027 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Nepal.
