Government decides to set up ‘Labor Help Desk’ in all Nepali embassies

The Government of Nepal has decided to set up a help desk for workers in Nepali embassies in various countries abroad. Following Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s directive and initiative, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security has decided to set up help desks in embassies. In the first week of January(Magh), the Prime Minister called the officials of the Ministry along with the Labor Secretary and told them that the Nepalese living abroad had to face many problems and sufferings during their foreign employment and instructed them to set up a desk to address the problems of the Nepali workers living abroad. After the instructions of the Prime Minister, the Ministry started the necessary work. After completing the work, the ministry has decided to set up a separate focal desk to address the problems of workers and workers working in different countries abroad.
