Sixteen thousand foreign tourists visit the Annapurna trail in 2022

In 2022 under the Annapurna Circuit trail 15,900 foreign tourists have entered Manang district. According to Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) Manang, 10,364 of them are men and 5,536 are women. 41 tourist visited in January,169 in February, 1231 in March, 2382 in April, 196 in May, 195 in June, 196 in July, 367 in August, 292 in September,4,654 in October, 2,981 tourists in November and 499 visited in December.

According to ACAP data that 6 times more tourists visited Manang in 2022 as compared to 2021. Only two thousand three hundred and seventy six tourists entered Manang in 2021. 13 thousand 627 more tourists have come in 2022 than in 2021. Similarly, 1,976 tourists came in 2020. According to the center, in 2019, 36,647 tourists, in 2018, 29,484 and in 2017, 21,68 tourists visited the footpath. While the arrival of tourists has been increasing since 2017, in 2020 the road sector was affected due to the corona infection. Especially Israel, Germany, France, Australia, UK, American tourists come to Annapurna trail. The Annapurna Trek is considered one of the top 10 destinations in the world.
