CAN InfoTech 2023 to commence on 7th February

The preparations for Info developers Can InfoTech 2023 in association with SCT have accelerated as the event is set to take place in Kathmandu from 7th February. The main organizer Computer Association Nepal Federation (CAN Federation), in its press release said that preparations have reached the final stage. Moreover 90% of the stalls have been booked for the 6-day ITC fair.

According to Ranjit Podar, president of the federation, there will be a special exhibition of the latest technology and services introduced in the field of information and communication technology at CAN Infotech. An in-depth discussion among the stakeholders will be another side event.

Infodevelopers Pvt Ltd is the title sponsor of the 28th CAN Infotech and Smart Choice Technology Limited (SCT) is the associate sponsor. This is the first time in the history of Can Infotech that a software company has become the top sponsor.

Umesh Raghuvanshi, CEO of Infodevelopers said that the top sponsorship was done at CAN Infotech to promote the software industry of Nepal and encourage indigenous production. “It was necessary to change from the comment that CAN is only a hardware organization,” he explained.

The fair will have Platinum Sponsor Dishhome Fibernet, Diamond Sponsor Nepal Telecom, Gold Sponsor Maya Animation Academy and Huawei, Silver sponsors including S Power, Digicom and ArnSikka (Unlimited Technology). Pay Well is the ticketing partner of the exhibition, IME General Insurance is the insurance partner, Lord Buddha Education Foundation is the knowledge partner, International School for Skills is the training partner, Racket Bar and Events is the food and beverage partner, Powered by IME Pay and Sparrow SMS is the SMS partner.

Government institutions such as Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Department of Information Technology, Nepal Telecommunication Authority, business organisations such as Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Confederation of Nepal Industry and private entities like Subisu and others have helped to organize the exhibition successfully. Similarly, there is international support from Associations and Witsa.

The general public will have to pay Rs. 100 for the entry ticket while students will have to pay Rs. 50. An arrangement has been introduced to buy tickets online by downloading Paywell’s mobile app and paying Rs. 25. The organizers expect that this exhibition will be a special event for those who are interested in information technology to get information about the development and use in this field. Along with branding, ICT accessories, product launching, IT career counseling (student pavilion), college pavilion, startup pavilion, software pavilion has been arranged at Can Infotech. This time Nepali innovation, talent and startups have been specially promoted. About 350 thousand people are expected to visit this edition of the Infotech Fair.
