On conclusion of elections for House of Representatives (Federal Parliament) and representatives for Provincial Assemblies on November 20, chairperson of Maoist Centre Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ with support of Communist Party of Nepal (UML), Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janata Samajbadi Party and other small party has formed a full-fledged council of ministers.

Similarly, the HoR has elected Devraj Ghimire of CPN UML as Speaker and Indira Rana Magar of Rastriya Swatantra party as Deputy Speaker.

Likewise, procedure for electing new President and Vice President is in progress.
