All five dead bodies of Indians identified, taken back to India

Dead bodies of all five Indian nationals who were on board the Yeti Airlines airplane, which crashed in Pokhara on January 14, have been identified and handed over to their respective family members, according to hospital sources.

On Sunday two bodies belonging to Anil Kumar Rajbhar and Abhisekh Kushwaha were identified where as the body of Bishal Sharma was identified on Saturday. On Monday the remaining one dead body belonging to Sonu Jaishwal was identified. The hospital on Monday handed over the bodies of Sonu Jaishwal, Abhisekh Kumar Rajbhar,  Abhisekh Kushwaha and Bishal Sharma to their respective family members, according to sources at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

The dead body of Sanjaya Jaishwal has already been handed over to the family and taken back to India few days ago.

 The family members of the four deceased passengers, who died in the Pokhara plane crash were taken to India Monday afternoon, one of the family members told PTI over phone.

A Yeti Airlines aircraft had crashed at the Seti River gorge of Pokhara on January 14 killing at least 71 people on board.

The aircraft was carrying 68 passengers including five Indian national and four crew members. It crashed at Seti River gorge in Pokhara minutes before landing at Pokhara Regional Airport. The aircraft had taken off from Kathmandu heading towards Pokhara. However, body of one of the passengers could not be recovered so far. Nepal government has formed a five member probe committee to investigate into the air crash.
