NC : for fair politics
By TNW correspondent
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda is certain in getting the confidence of the House of Representatives on Tuesday. The latest political scenario confirms the same, say senior politicos.
All in ruling parties have worked out final scheme of power sharing for federal and provincial governments. This has ensured continuing support for PM in the House floor during the voting time.
All are now eagerly looking forward to see how PKD plans to steer his third time Premiership. He had actually waited for this destination over the past six years.
Nepali Congress, the largest single party in parliament, remained determined to do fair politics by confining itself to the opposition bench at all levels of governments. Its newly elected parliamentarians pressed for this.
“They stood against exploring any one of possibilities of working out alternative to ruling coalition through motivation of sorts for some small parties, said one insider.
According to a media analyst, the latest political scenario of ruling coalition remaining in charge of Singha Durbar and the single largest party energizing the opposition bench could guarantee some sort of political stability in the midst of hung state of the highest legislature.
If parties and leaders in power or outside it remains true to what they have expressed during the initial days of 2023, the next one year would witness some solid steps towards real delivery of public services in all 77 districts of the country. “That alone would be a great gain for Nepalis”, said a senior politician in Kathmandu on Monday.
