Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has ruled out the possibility of joining the new government-led by the CPN (Maoist Centre) chief Pushpakamal Dahal “Prachanda.”
This comes amid a request by Prime Minister Prachanda to join the new government. Speaking at the party Politburo meeting on Monday, former Prime Minister Nepal made it clear that his party will move forward keeping the interests of the nation and the people at the centre.
Nepal said his party will move forward after making an objective review of the current political developments in the country. We are not going to make accusation to anybody, he made it clear.
CPN-US is doing well in the current political situation and we are not in favour of confronting anyone, said Nepal. Nepal asked leaders and cadres of his party to understand the reality that they had to form a new party after their efforts to solve the problems by staying within the party failed following the dissolution of the Parliament by then Prime Minister K P Oli.
