The leader should sacrifice for the country: RPP chair Lingden

President of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Rajendra Lingden has said that the voters should elect a non-corrupt leadership to lead the country towards the path of development and prosperity.   

Addressing a program organized by the party at Anupam Foodland in Battisputali on the occasion of Tihar, Nepal Sambat and Chhath festivals on Sunday, he underlined the need for politics of honesty and sacrifice for building the country. The economic transformation and development of the country and people is possible with the wise decisions made by the people in the elections.

He also advocated in favour of a ceremonial monarchy and Nepal as a Sanatan Hindu state with religious freedom.  

“The election should be considered as a historic opportunity for nation building,” he pointed out. On the occasion the party’s candidate for House of Representatives from Kathmandu – 2 constituency Kunti Devi Pokharel and Provincial assembly member candidates Sunil K.C. and Raju Bishta also expressed their views on current situation of the country.
