NOC guarantees supply of petrol during Tihar

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has informed that the petroleum supply will not be disrupted during a week-long public holidays of upcoming Tihar and Chhath.

The public holidays for Tihar and Chhath will start from Monday for a week. Issuing a notice on Friday, the state-own oil company informed that it will distribute fuels from its 13 depots.

NOC has decided to open depots of Biratnagar, Amlekhgunj, Thankot, Pokhara, Bhairahawa, Surkhet, Dhangadhi, Charali, Nepalgunj, Dhanusha, Birgunj and Dipayal in certain days during the public holidays to maintain uninterrupted supply of petroleum. Similarly, the petrol pumps will also remain open during the festival, informed NOC.
