Nearly 18 million voters eligible to cast votes on Nov. 20 polls

In November 20 elections in total 17 million 988 thousand, and 570 voters are eligible to cast their votes, according to the Election Commission.

The election for the member of the House of Representatives (HoR) and the members of the Provincial Assembly is scheduled to take place on November 20. 2022.

There will be 8 million 847 thousand and 579 female, 9 million 140 thousand and 806 male and 185 other voters in the November 20 election, said the Election Commission issuing a press release on Friday.

 A person is eligible to cast vote if he/she becomes 18 years old by November 19. There will be 22,000 polling booths in 10,891 polling stations, according to the EC.

 Similarly, Bagmati Province, Province 1, and Madhes Province rank first, second and third in terms of the number of voters. Bagmati situated in central Nepal has 3 million 471 thousand and 492 voters, Province 1 has 3 million 396 thousand and 865 voters while Madhes Province has 3 million 386 thousand and 865 voters.
