Aishwarya Shrestha becomes Miss Grand Nepal 2022

Aishwarya Shrestha has been crowned as Miss Grand Nepal 2022 amidst a function in Kathmandu the other day. During the beauty pageant jointly organized by Cosmo Events and Boli Club Group, Shrestha grabbed the crown after beating 14 other participants.

Along with the crown of Miss Grand Nepal she also received a purse of 6 lakh rupees. New Miss Grand Nepal Shrestha will participate from Nepal in the Miss Grand International to be held in Bali, Indonesia towards the end of the year. Barsha Bhandari was the first runner up and Raksha Upreti  was the second runner up in the event.

 Actor Anupvikram Shahi, Rapper Ashish Rana (Lahure), Miss Nepal Earth 2018 Priya Sigdel, social activist Chiring Wangdi, Secretary General of Beauty Pageant Association Nepal Nishu Jha, National Director of Miss Grand Nepal Suresh Tamang were the members of the jury during the pageant. According to the organizers, the main theme of Miss Grand Nepal 2022 this year was how to stop war and violence. Organizers said that participants in the competition received training in makeup, dance, personality development, elocution, self-defense and acting.

In the same competition, Tannu Shakya (Miss Popular), Barsha Bhandari (Miss Personality and, Miss Best Swim Suit), Saman Karki (Miss Confidence), Swastika Magar (Miss Photogenic) and Sudeshna Maharjan (Miss Congeniality ) received title awards.

Sujit Bashyal had choreographed show organized at Hotel Shankar in Lajimpat. The program was conducted by Miss Grand Nepal 2018 winner Urusha Joshi. The participants appeared on the stage in dresses prepared by various fashion designers. The beauty pageant was managed by 365 Events and Media.
