Sumeru Hospital re-elects Bharat Maharjan as chairman

The Annual General Meeting of Sumeru Hospital Pvt Ltd has formed a seven-member Board of Directors under the chairmanship of Bharat Maharjan on Friday. Maharjan had also served as the president of the hospital prior to this.

Maharjan was unanimously re-elected as the president during the occasion. The other members of the board of directors of the hospital include Hemraj Dahal, Dr. DV Karki, Dilip Dangol, Sunil Dangol, Ramesh Maharjan, Vinod Acharya and Saguna Manandhar.

President of the hospital Maharjan said that the services and facilities provided by the hospital will be made more quality and reliable. Stating that the Sumeru Hospital, which has been operating for the past 24 years, has been continuously serving the people of Lalitpur, he said that OPD, emergency, surgery, and intensive care services are being provided in the hospital.

Maharjan said that Sumeru Hospital is committed towards providing providing modern, reliable and quality healthcare services to the people. Because of this the hospital has been honoured with the International Quality Mark (ISO), he pointed out. Maharjan said that the hospital’s building and other physical infrastructure have been built as per the standard requirement of a quality hospital. We are planning to further expand the services and facilities of the hospital, he added.
