Tremors of a powerful earthquake were felt in Kathmandu Valley and other parts of central Nepal on Saturday morning. However, there were no reports of casualties so far as a result of the earthquake that hit Nuwakot at 5:26 AM.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the earthquake measuring 5.3 Richter Scale had its epicentre in Belkot Gadhi of Nuwakot district, 150 km North-west of Kathmandu. On July 31, a similarly powerful earthquake measuring 5.3 Richter Scale with it epicentre in Bhojpur hit Nepal.
