The government has designated 17 hospitals for free treatment of Covid

 Nepal government has designated 17 hospitals across the country for free treatment of Covid-19 infected patients. According to the decision of the Ministry of Health and Population on June15, government has designated variious hospitals from all over the country for free treatment. The Ministry has arranged for providing subsidies to these hospitals based on the condition and number of patients for the treatment of Covid- patients. Along with this, the Covid patients will get free treatment in each and every province.

 Six hospitals in Bagmati province will provide free services for Covid patients. Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital Teku, Bir Hospital Mahabauddha, TU Teaching Hospital and Patan Institute of Health Sciences in Kathmandu Valley, where there is a high concentration of patients, have been designated for free treatment of corona patients. Similarly, Bharatpur Hospital Chitwan has also been allotted for free treatment.

Apart from these, Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar and BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan in Province – 1 have been earmarked for free treatment of Covid patients. Similarly,. Janakpur Provincial Hospital Janakpur and Narayani Hospital Birgunj in Madhes Pradesh will also provide free Covid treatment. Likewise, free treatment will be provided at Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences in Gandaki and Dhaulagiri Hospital in Baglung. Similarly, in Lumbini Province, arrangement has been made for providing free medical services to Covid patients in Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal and Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj. Regional Hospital Surkhet and Karnali Institute of Health Sciences, Jumla have also been designated in Karnali.. In Far West, Seti Provincial Hospital, Kailali and Dadeldhura Hospitals have been designated for free treatment of Covid patients.
