Amidst a colourful evening of June 18 Saturday, 24 year girl Priyanka Rani Joshi was crowned as Miss Nepal World 2022. Altogether 24 girls participated in the Grand Finale event of Miss Nepal 2022 held at newly built spacious Godawari Convention Hall at Godawari Municipality. Former Miss Nepal Namrata Shrestha crowned Priyanka, who also won the title award of Miss Delight. Priyanka, a beauty from Kathmandu, has completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with English as major subject.
The main sponsor of the 26th edition of Miss Nepal, organized by the Hidden Treasure, was Dabur Vatika. Harkirat Bedi Dabur’s Business Head, SAARC and Abhaya Gorkhalee, Marketing Head, Dabur Nepal, were also present during the crowning ceremony.
Likewise, Shareesha Shrestha, a medical doctor, was crowned as Miss Nepal Earth. She also grabbed the Miss Confident title award. Nancy Khadka, the 2nd runner up of the event was crowned as Miss International. She also won the Miss Popular Choice title award. On the occasion Smarika Sharma bagged Miss Miss Beauty with a Purpose and Rose Kandel bagged Miss Beautiful Hari. Similarly, Mamata Dhakal bagged Miss Photogenic title, Miss Sophia Shrestha bagged Miss Glamour and Ganga Gurung bagged Miss Pharmacy Face of 2022. The Miss Nepal 2022 finalists were announced during an official ceremony on May 29 at Hotel Raddison, Kathmandu. Dabur Vatika hair oil, the main sponsor of the pageant, is the popular herbal cosmetic product of Dabur Nepal, a subsidiary of Dabur India Ltd.
