The book entitled “Theory and Practice of Forest Management in Nepal” authored by Swoyambbhu Man Amatya and his colleagues was released amidst a programme in Kathmandu on Wednesday. The book serves as a reference material for the students of forest management.

The book is useful for those interested in forest management in Nepal and teachers and students of forest management, remarked Prof. Punya Prasad Regmi, Vice Chancellor of Agriculture and Forestry University. “I congratulate Dr. Amatya and his team for writing such a comprehensive book on forest management,” he said. “Although there are several published references available on the subject of forest management, a comprehensive document particularly devoted to the Nepalese context is not available,” pointed out Dr. Amatya.
