Miruna’s explanation of the ‘bad touch’ incident: Time is not wrong to do any right thing

Actress Miruna Magar has given an explanation regarding the incident of ‘Bad Touch’ that happened to her recently. Posting a long status on Facebook, Miruna has mentioned that she was intentionally touched by Furpa Tamang in the Civil Mall on May 29. She, however, said that she had accepted Furpa’s apology in the incident. Miruna wrote “Furpa Tamang has unselfishly apologized for touching me in the civil mall on May 31 and for his mistreatment on May 29 and I have accepted his apology.” My heartfelt apology goes out to the community at large who are unwittingly saddened by this incident, even though my actions on May 29 were not against any religion or society but against an individual. ‘

Miruna had publicly slapped Furpa after he deliberately touched her on May 29. She had also lodged a complaint with the police against Furpa’s misconduct. But the Tamang / Lama community protested against her publicly. They demanded to halt the screening of Miruna’s film Kabaddi 4. The police released Furpa, after the protest escalated. On May 31, the actors, directors and Lama Gurus of the film had agreed to apologize over the incident and begged an apology.

Miruna even said that she had a hard time. “I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all my supportive minds, fans, relatives and the Nepali audience for the immense support and courage and love they have given me during this difficult time.”

“I am deeply affected by the stories that many of you have come to share with me,” she wrote. I can’t help but admire you for taking courage from these stories at this time. ‘ 

Miruna has even urged everyone to fight against wrongdoing. “Never grieve silently and always fight against the wrong doings”, advises Miruna, ‘No matter how difficult it is now, tomorrow will definitely change. “There is no wrong time to do the right thing, “was her message.
