NMB Bank launches Financial Literacy Program for Maiti Nepal

NMB Bank has organized financial literacy program for the woman of Maiti Nepal. The program was attended by 53 woman of Maiti Nepal . The program organized by the microfinance department of the bank provided financial education on savings, investment, various types of loans and various other services available from the bank. Founder Anuradha Koirala, Executive Director Bishwaram Khadka, Program Director Yuvraj Koirala were present on the occasion on behalf of Maiti Nepal and Buddhi Malla, Sharad Poudel and Nabin Panthi were present from NMB Bank .

Last year, a leading bank to invest in women entrepreneurial concessional loans, the bank has been organizing financial literacy programs for various women’s groups at different times for women’s empowerment. The Bank believes that this program for the woman of Maiti Nepal will help them gain financial knowledge and become self-reliant and will have a positive impact on the overall economy. Both Bank and Maiti Nepal will continue to collaborate on such financial literacy programs and other potential programs in the future.

NMB Bank has been awarded the title of “Bank of the Year Asia 2021” by The Financial Times, London’s “The Banker” magazine. NMB Bank has won the title of “Bank of the Year Nepal” four times for 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021.
